Our Community

We are thankful for the many incredible people who belong and are connected to our vibrant school community. Built on collaboration, respect and a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of every student. We prioritise celebrating diversity and inclusion, recognising that our differences enrich our school environment and enhance student’s learning and overall school experiences.

Parents, staff, and students work hand in hand to foster an atmosphere where creativity, inclusivity and lifelong learning thrive. Together, we celebrate achievements, support one another through challenges and inspire a sense of belonging that makes our school truly exceptional. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to cultivating strong relationships that empower our students to become compassionate, confident individuals ready to make a positive impact in the world.

Parents & Friends Association

Claremont College has an active Parents & Friends (P&F) Association. The P&F assists the school through fundraising activities and organising social events for the school community. The P&F also assists the school in collaboration and consultation regarding school policy and other stakeholder-related matters. Meetings are held in the library once or twice a term. All parents are warmly encouraged to attend. An annual P&F membership contribution of $30 is included in each family’s tuition account in Term 1. This fee is used to assist the work of the P&F in providing events and fundraising activities to grow the community and support the life of the school. The involvement of parents in the life of Claremont College is valued and encouraged. Contact the office regarding this year’s activities and opportunities for parents.

Resident Consultative Committee

The Claremont College Resident Consultative Committee was established at the beginning of 2018 after Claremont sought permission from Randwick Council in 2017 to partially close Judge Lane. The Council provided an external chair and the meetings were attended by residents who live close to the school, three members of the P&F and three members of the School Staff. The meetings are now held approximately three times per year and provide a forum for local issues such as traffic flow to be addressed.
