Welcome to our biannual school concert! The Creative and Performing Arts hold a truly special place in our school community. Beyond the lights, music, and applause, participating in the arts teaches our students how to express themselves, work together, build confidence, and discover new passions. Tonight is a joyful celebration of all those moments coming together on stage.
A production of this scale is a mammoth team effort, and I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped bring tonight to life. First, a heartfelt thank you to Lara Kerestes and Yasmin Davis, whose creative vision, leadership, and tireless dedication have made this incredible performance possible.
Putting on a concert requires immense work both on stage and behind the scenes. Special thanks to Jessica Taylor and her team of volunteers for designing and organising our wonderful costumes, and to Karen Wiggins for expertly managing the extensive behind-the-scenes administration and logistics.
To our entire staff, thank you for your incredible support, flexibility, and enthusiasm. Whether helping backstage, managing rehearsals, or keeping daily routines steady amidst the excitement, your contribution to our performing arts is invaluable.
Finally, to our students: thank you for being the most creative, persistent, and dedicated little humans we could ever ask for. Watching you put your hearts into every practice and shine on stage fills us all with immense pride.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
